realm of the dead, the deceased Elder apologetically informs them it was
only as a means of summoning them to thwart The Collector's mad scheme
for immortality.
The Avengers could yet be returned to life, but first they must subdue their West Coast counterparts, who, under the guidance of The Collector, have joined them in the afterlife by taking a poison elixir.
